We offer YCT courses for both native and non-native learners!  We’re here to support your child’s Mandarin learning journey every step of the way.

What is YCT (Youth Chinese Test)?
The Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is a globally recognized exam designed for young learners (under 15 years old) who are non-native speakers of Mandarin. Developed by Hanban (now known as the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation in China), the YCT focuses on assessing Mandarin proficiency for everyday use.

YCT Levels:
Level 1: Focuses on 80 basic vocabulary words and simple sentence
structures for beginners.

Level 2: Expands to 150 words, with more basic grammar structures.

Level 3: Covers 300 words, with more complex sentence structures and
vocabulary.

Level 4: The most advanced YCT level, covering 600 words and more
complex language structures, suitable for intermediate learners.
